Lower Transill Dam is striking and it's near Lower Transill Reservoir; Lower Transill Reservoir is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Cavern Estates Mobile Home and RV Park is a delightful place to camp nearby. Through the long summer days here at Lower Transill Reservoir, high temperatures
generally reach the 90's, and the night is rather chillier of course, typically in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lower Transill Reservoir temperatures
fall to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Carlsbad Caverns National Park is worthwhile, and if you're here why not stop by Dark Canyon Draw. Lower Transill Reservoir is not far at all from Carlsbad-Artesia, and Carlsbad Spring #3 is an inspiring location to check out during your stay.
