Lower Juniper Reservoir is located in the Sacramento Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.       There's so much to do here at Lower Juniper Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Springs is a tremendous place for that, and Upper Juniper Reservoir is a perfect lake nearby. Lower Juniper Reservoir is pretty dried up regularly; through August this area sees the most rain, and                  April is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to the Sacramento Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again.
