The summit of Canjilon Mountain can be spotted from Lower Canjilon Lakes; if you came for an overnight stay Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a pleasant place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Rio de los Brazos for all you thrill seekers, and Middle Canjilon Campground is a tremendous campground here. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be. There are plenty       of folks from Espanola here at Lower Canjilon Lakes. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the San Juan Mountains has it all. There are some nice whitewater spots on Rio Brazos, and do put some time aside to spend at Alkali Spring while you're here at Lower Canjilon Lakes. Dry warm beds await you at The Abiquiu Inn, and Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. All through the warm months highs here at Lower Canjilon                  Lakes get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
