     Lower Canjilon Lakes is a nice lake to visit. At Lower Canjilon Lakes you can catch a glimpse of Canjilon Mountain, and if you came to camp Middle Canjilon Campground is a splendid site to do that. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Lower Canjilon Lakes reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Lower Canjilon Lakes overnight low temperatures during the  
   winter are in the 0's. Get covered with water paddling on Rio de los Brazos, and Alkali Spring is always fun to check out.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Rio Brazos is so much fun, and the fine folks of Espanola like to hang out close by. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are really bountiful here at Lower Canjilon Lakes. If you need a location to stay Branding Iron Motel is a perfect choice. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
 
               There's so much to do here at Lower Canjilon Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a fine place for that; dry warm beds await you at The Abiquiu Inn.
Lower Canjilon Lakes is pretty dry regularly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is May. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
