    In New Mexico there are many beautiful lakes, Lost Lake is one of them. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. You might want to pay a visit to Cherokee Canyon if you're here at Lost Lake, and delightful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Red River. Lost Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Lost Lake is pretty dried out regularly; throughout the month of August you get  
   the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January.
Stay the night at McCrystal Creek Campground; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a fine site to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a good time. If the weather is perfect here at Lost Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail, and Best Western River's Edge is a great site to get some rest. All through the summer
 
               months at Lost Lake highs are usually in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lost Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do near Lost Lake. You'll hit upon a striking lake called Costilla Reservoir near Lost Lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Allen Creek. This lake is so wonderful. An interesting thing to have a look at in close proximity to Lost Lake is Costilla Reservoir Dam, and skiing at Ski Rio is one of those things you just ought to do.
There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mallette Campground is a great place for that, and going for a hike along the Bernal Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
