    If you are in San Miguel county it's always a good idea to stop by Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pendaries RV Resort, and the skiing at Ski Santa Fe is tremendous. Lost Lake is right by the Santa Barbara Angostura Trail, and Lost Lake is near Denton Canyon which is definitely worth checking out. And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Panchuela  
   Campground is a brilliant location to camp.
The Divide Trail offers hiking at its best, and on a pretty day you obtain a fine sight of Spring Mountain from Lost Lake. Lost Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do next to Lost Lake. A day on the slopes of Sipapu Ski is just what you need, and a great close by hotel is Pecos Paradise Inn.

               Cristo Mountains. There's magnificent hiking along the Gascon Trail, and if you need a location to stay Mora Inn & Rv Park is a good choice. Summer at Lost Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lost Lake. It is very waterless here at Lost Lake typically; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
