     The warmest time of the year at Lost Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Lost Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. After a long day outdoors Best Western Jicarilla Inn & Casino is a pleasant location to spend a night or  
   two, and if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a magnificent sight of Chosa Mesa from Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Lake is not the only spot close by, Badland Pond is a close by lake; Aspen Spring is a glorious local attraction.
Lost Lake is a location that is quite waterless usually; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always
 
               beautiful. You could also explore Laguna Seca if you're here at Lost Lake; it's nearby, and Buck Canyon is a nice place to go to.
If you came to camp Buzzard Park Campground is a good location to do that.
