     The beauty of Lost Lake attracts many people from all around. All through the summer highs here at Lost Lake reach the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lost Lake are in the 20's. Baca Campground is a good local campground, and the Whiskey Trail offers hiking at its best. If you came for an overnight stay Deer Crossing RV Park is a tremendous  
   site to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Capitan Peak Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. Lost Lake is usually a relatively dry place; August is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
