If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Mexico you can check out Lost Lake. Lost Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Red River, and the sight of Fraser Mountain is pretty. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. The Number 3 Lift Trail is a glorious hiking trail next to Lost Lake, and do pop by Lost Lake Dam while you're here. All the outdoors

Italianos Campground is always a glorious experience, and going for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a great time. Skiing
at Taos is one of those things you just ought to do, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Twining Blue Lake Trail. A fine close by hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest, and Lost Lake is great enough to spend more
than a day at, Twining Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. La Cal Basin is a lovely place any time of year; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Horseshoe Lake.
