     The beauty of Lost Lake attracts many people from all around. Not much precipitation falls here at Lost Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is April. During the summertime highs here at Lost Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lost  
   Lake fall into the 10's. All the outdoors exciting things in the San Francisco Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Put some time aside to spend at Davis Spring if you're here at Lost Lake, and Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is a splendid national park.
Hiking along the Corner Mountain Trail is good fun. Lost Lake is right by the Middle Fork Trail, and you can stay the night at Dipping Vat Campground. This lake is one of the great places
 
               here in the San Francisco Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Willow Creek Campground is a fine spot for that.
