Lost Bear Lake is a nice lake to visit. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Sipapu Ski has great slopes and a friendly staff; don't leave Lost Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Gascon Trail. A tour to Lost Bear Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Pecos Falls, and Santiago Lake is a great lake close by. There are other places here than Lost Bear Lake, for example Middle Fork Lake.
