Go to Laguna Lorenza if you want to go to a nice lake. Laguna Lorenza is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a magnificent local campground, and a fine place to take a look at nearby is Puertecito de las Ranas. At Laguna Lorenza you don’t see much rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. | | you need to camp here for a while, Canjilon Creek Campground is a brilliant location for that, and Laguna Lorenza is a spot with many visitors from Espanola. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Laguna Lorenza. On a delightful day at Laguna Lorenza you can take a hike along the Apache Trail; Rio Ojo Caliente has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. and naturally, this is a magnificent region for people who like lakes, Laguna de las Ranas is a lake around here. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains. If you need
a place to stay The Abiquiu Inn is a nice choice, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Chama. This lake is so wonderful. All through the months of summer here at Laguna Lorenza,
high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Laguna Lorenza dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Laguna Lorenza is located in the San Juan Mountains.
