This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. All the outdoors entertaining things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back many times. After a long day outdoors The Abiquiu Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; the Apache Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Laguna Lorenza during the long summer days are       in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Laguna Lorenza temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a great location to camp; do take a hike on the Vallecitos Trail. You're sure to run into some nice folks from Espanola here; wonderful scenery and fine skiing is what                  you obtain at Pajarito Mountain. It is very dry here at Laguna Lorenza usually; most of the rain falls during August; April is the month with the least moisture. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Chama, and nearby you stumble on Puertecito de las Ranas which is a glorious place to go to. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a fine time. Laguna Lorenza is right by the Palacio Trail. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Laguna Lorenza.
