Summertime at Lonetree Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; night lows in the 20's for Lonetree Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Mountain High RV Park is a fine place to camp, and going for a hike on the Capitan Peak Trail is always a great adventure. Dry warm beds await you at Ruidoso Downs-Days       Inn; don't leave Lonetree Lake without first going for a hike along the Mitten Bar Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Baca Campground; there are good places to explore along the Summit Trail.
