Throughout the summertime at Lonetree Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lonetree Lake. Lonetree Lake is a magnificent location to camp, Baca Campground is a magnificent location; the Mitten Bar Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.       You're perhaps interested in lakes, Antelope Lake is one of those nearby; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Capitan Peak Trail. After a long day outdoors Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Around Lonetree Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
