Riverview Golf Course is a great golf course close by; paddling on San Juan River is so much fun. Stay the night at Mom and Pop RV Park, and a pleasant nearby hotel is The Region Inn. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Locke Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Animas River. High temperatures at Locke Lake through the warm months are in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter       are generally in the 40's; night lows during the winter for Locke Lake tend to be in the 10's. At Locke Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls throughout August, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Locke Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, River Grove RV Park is a magnificent location to camp nearby; La Quinta Inn Farmington is a fine site to get some rest.
