Stay the night at River Grove RV Park, and a striking lake like Youngs Lake is a pleasant location to explore. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Locke Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mom and Pop RV Park; dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-Farmington. It is very dried up       here at Locke Lake frequently; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of San Juan River, and The Region Inn is a great place to get some rest. Summertime at Locke Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures                  fall down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Locke Lake are in the 10's. A nice spot for whitewater paddling next to Locke Lake is Animas River.
