This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Nutria Campground, and El Morro National Monument is a brilliant local destination. If you get bored of Little Bear Reservoir, you could also check out close by Lost Lake, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Little Bear Spring. For the duration of the long summer days at Little Bear Reservoir highs are ordinarily       in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Little Bear Reservoir are in the 10's. A good site to camp here at Little Bear Reservoir is Quaking Aspen Campground; Best Western Red Rock Inn is a good spot to get some rest. Little Bear Reservoir is typically a reasonably dry site; through the month of August you get the most rain around                  here, and the driest month is June. This spot is great, just look at all the fun things to do in the vicinity of Little Bear Reservoir. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Zuni Mountains.
