Around Lindsey Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is March. Summertime highs at Lindsey Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's while night lows are frequently in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 20's for Lindsey Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant trip to Tamarisk Flat is a great       way to spend an afternoon, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Stevens Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. If you need a place to stay Carlsbad Super 8 Motel is a good choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lindsey Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cavern Estates Mobile Home and RV Park. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a splendid local destination here at Lindsey Lake.
