Go for a hike on the Barber Springs Trail, and camping at Lavade Lake is brilliant fun, Mountain High RV Park is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lavade Lake is a wonderful location to camp, Nogal Lake Campground is a wonderful location, and going for a hike on the Patos Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. Lavade Lake is a location that is quite dry regularly; of       all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is April. Lavade Lake is located in the Sacramento Mountains. Summer at Lavade Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lavade Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. If you                  want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sacramento Mountains.
