During the warm days of summer here at Las Ranas Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Las Ranas Lake. Las Ranas Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The San Juan Mountains       is peerless! If you came to camp Twin Rivers Trailer Park is a pleasant location to do that; close by you hit upon the V Rock Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Cumbres Suites is a wonderful choice; you'll find a pretty lake called Beaver Lake. The Leche Creek Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the neighborhood of Las Ranas Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Corkins Lodge. At Las Ranas Lake you                  can observe Chromo Mountain; get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Chama. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the San Juan Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Fish Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure. Las Ranas Lake is a location that is reasonably dry typically; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Las Ranas Lake.
