This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Rio de los Pinos, and if you're here, you could also stop at pretty Chino Dry Lake. Laguna Larga is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. A delightful nearby hotel is Branding Iron Motel. Whitewater paddling is nice on San Antonio River; Rio De Los Pinos Campground is a glorious local campground. For the period of the warm days of summer here       at Laguna Larga, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Laguna Larga overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Around Laguna Larga you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and May on the other hand is the driest.
