New Mexico has many beautiful lakes and Laquna del Padre is one of them. On a pretty day you get a sight of El Cerrito Santa Cruz from Laquna del Padre, and Laquna del Padre is near Arroyo Chimaja which is certainly worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Pecos River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Laquna del Padre is a location with many visitors from Las Vegas.
