     The beauty of The Lakes attracts many people from all around. The warmest time of the year at The Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for The Lakes. Not much rain falls here at The Lakes; through August this area sees the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located  
   in the wonderful Black Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Burnt Mountain Trail is always a delightful adventure, and camping at The Lakes is glorious fun, Emory Pass Vista Campground is a glorious local campground. Cherry Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth visiting; if you need a place to stay Hot Springs Inn - A Magnuson Hotel is a good choice. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near
 
               The Lakes has to offer. Lake Mountain is clearly visible from The Lakes.
There is a great hiking trail near The Lakes called the Old Government Trail, and why not camp at Wrights Cabin Campground if you're here at The Lakes. And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting things to do in the Black Range. You might want to pay a visit to Falls Gulch if you're here at The Lakes; Marshall Spring is always fun to check out.
