Lake McMillan

It is now a wildlife refuge. Says Jim T.

If you wish to access this lake you will need a vehicle with a high ground clearance as it is all dirt road to get to it and impossible to get to after a heavy rain. Not worth the effort, the fish are not edible due to DDT contamination. Says Doug P.

This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Lake McMillan? Lake Avalon is close at hand, and during your trip here you'll meet some people
    from Lakewood for sure.
A good location to camp here at Lake McMillan is 7 Rivers Cove RV Resort. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express & Suites CARLSBAD is a great choice, and Lake McMillan is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Brantley Lake State Park is a fine local campground.
