Lake Katherine is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Lake Katherine is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. All through the summertime months highs here at Lake Katherine reach the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Katherine dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Winsor

This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at Lake Johnson in the vicinity of Lake Katherine, it's a lovely lake, and dry warm beds await you at Encantado An Auberge Resort. Katherine.
If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Bishop's Lodge is a perfect spot to get some rest, and the panoramas at Santa Fe National Historic Trail will
blow your mind. Lake Katherine is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Panchuela Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Rio Capulin Trail. A delightful lake like
Spirit Lake in the neighborhood of Lake Katherine is a fine site to check out.
Not much rainfall falls here at Lake Katherine; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. Go for a hike on the Agua Sarca Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Ski Santa Fe nearby.
