Through the summer months here at Lake Isabel, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Isabel. Fort       Union National Monument is a glorious spot close to Lake Isabel, and do take a look at Lake David, it's a pretty lake. Lake Isabel is typically a relatively arid location; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. You simply have to like the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
