Lake Farmington is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Downs RV Park is a perfect local campground, and Durango has great slopes and a friendly staff. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - FARMINGTON EAST is a good location to spend a night or two, and a round of golf at nearby Pinon Hills Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. All through the warm months       at Lake Farmington highs are ordinarily in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Lake Farmington night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Animas River; you'll meet a lot of folks from Farmington here. It is very dried out here at Lake Farmington regularly; throughout October this area sees the most rain while June                  is frequently the driest month. Lakes? Sure, Beeline Reservoir is in the vicinity. You completely have to adore Lake Farmington. Camping at The Downs R.V. Park is always a great experience; the peak of Bald Mesa can be made out from Lake Farmington. This lake is so wonderful.
