People from Farmington love to come to Lake Farmington; right next door to Lake Farmington you discover a golf course called Pinon Hills Golf Course. A great place to camp here at Lake Farmington is The Downs R.V. Park, and there's some flowing water nearby, Hargis Arroyo is a stream you can take a look at while here. Bald Mesa can be made out from Lake Farmington, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of       close by Durango. High temperatures at Lake Farmington all through the long summer days are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Lake Farmington tend to be in the 10's. Just can't get enough of Lake Farmington. Lake Farmington is pretty dried up usually; during the month of October you get the most rain around here; the driest month is June.
