The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You definitely have to fancy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Take a hike on the Gascon Trail; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Las Vegas. Not much rainfall falls here at La Cueva Reservoir; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; Shufeldt Lake is a lake that's near La Cueva Reservoir, and if you have time, Fort Union National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at.
