You definitely have to fancy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Take a hike on the Gascon Trail; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Las Vegas. Not much rainfall falls here at La Cueva Reservoir; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at La Cueva Dam Number One in the neighborhood of La Cueva Reservoir       is gorgeous; some of the water close by flows, like La Canada del Guajalote. All the outdoors amusing things right next door to La Cueva Reservoir will keep you coming back many times.
