Koehler Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is regularly the driest month. Microtel Inn & Suites Raton is a good spot to get some rest, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Laguna Madre. This lake is so wonderful. Crow Canyon is a fine place to take a look at close by, and Koehler Dam is a striking location, without doubt worth stopping at. This is no       location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
