    It's always fun to stop by Kays Lake. Kays Lake gets a great deal of water; throughout March this area sees the most snow, and June is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Kays Lake during the summertime are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Kays Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Elk Creek Trail is tremendous  
   fun, and camping at Rio Chama RV Campground is always a glorious experience.
Kays Lake is right by the La Manga Stock Driveway, and glide down the rapids of Rio Chama in a kayak. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Going for a hike along the Red Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you come at the right time of year, Rio Brazos offers some pleasant whitewater. And if that's not enough
 
               there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains.
This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. Hotel & Shops is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and needless to say Wolf Creek is a scenic stream that is worth taking a look at. Just can't get enough of the San Juan Mountains. If you need a site to stay Foster Hotel Bar Restaurant is a wonderful choice, and if you came to camp El Vado Lake Camping Resort is a wonderful location to do that.
