Lake Johnson is always a pleasure to visit. Lake Johnson is usually a quite dehydrated spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Very wonderful scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Ski Santa Fe; camping is available at Cowles Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Johnson is right by the Rio Capulin Trail; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Santa Fe.

| | want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Johnson. Hiking along the Agua Sarca Trail is pleasant fun, and Rio Santa Cruz has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. At Lake Johnson you can see Redonda peak, and obviously, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Lake Katherine is a lake in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
