A visit to Lake Johnson is always a good idea. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. During your journey to Lake Johnson you'll meet some folks from Santa Fe for sure, and there are great places to discover along the Rio Capulin Trail. | | friendly staff, and visiting Santa Fe National Historic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Sipapu Ski close at hand, and the vista of delightful Redonda peak is splendid. If you came to camp Panchuela Campground is a splendid site to do that; you can go for a hike on the Agua Sarca Trail. course, commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lake Johnson during the wintertime usually descend into the 10's.
Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo
Mountains. Lake Johnson is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cowles Campground is a good local campground, and Fort Marcy Hotel Suites is a splendid spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Johnson
without first going for a hike along the Winsor Trail, and glide down the rapids of Rio Santa Cruz in a kayak.
Lake Johnson is a location that is quite dried up mostly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most
rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. There are other places here than Lake Johnson, for example Lake Katherine, and if you need a spot to stay Bishop's Lodge is a fine choice.
