    In New Mexico there are many beautiful lakes, Jemez Canyon Reservoir is one of them. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pajarito Mountain while you're here, and a delightful location to camp here at Jemez Canyon Reservoir is Albuquerque North Koa. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do right next door to Jemez Canyon Reservoir. Lakes are good; Laguna de las Bacas is a lake that's near Jemez Canyon Reservoir. It is very waterless  
   here at Jemez Canyon Reservoir generally; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Go for a hike on the Ellis Trail, and charming scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Sandia Peak. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. After a long day outdoors Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa is a tremendous location to spend a night or two,
 
               and magnificent hiking is available along the Osha Spring Trail. Get covered with water paddling on Jemez River; golf can be played at Santa Ana Golf Club Twin Warriors Golf Club.
Jemez Canyon Dam is a location that is near Jemez Canyon Reservoir, and Petroglyph National Monument is a glorious local destination. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express BERNALILLO is a fine choice; camping at Albuquerque N/Bernalillo KOA is always a fine experience. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Gonzales Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Penasco Blanco Trail is always a glorious adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Here at Jemez Canyon Reservoir you'll in all probability meet some people from Albuquerque; Bernalillo Plug is a pleasant spot to stop at while in the neighborhood. For the duration of the months of summer here at Jemez Canyon Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jemez Canyon Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 10's.

Sandia Peak Ski Area is a family area located in the Cibola National Forest approximately 30 minutes from Albuquerque, NM. The Ski Area offers an excellent learning environment for the novice skier and boarder as well as some of the longest cruising terrain available in New Mexico....
Sandia Peak is a pretty easy mountain to ski, not many bone breaking runs here. Good ski area for the whole family....
