You'll find a stunning lake called Meadows Reservoir near Jackson Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Civitan Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Jackson Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, River Grove RV Park is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Farmington. A stunning lake like City Reservoir in the vicinity of Jackson Lake is a perfect       place to stop at, and why not take a little trip to Connor Arroyo if you're here. Gotta ski! Durango is a glorious site to do that, and The Region Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Jackson Lake is Animas River, and you can stay the night at Mom and Pop RV Park. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Juan River,                  and you're sure to encounter some fine folks from Farmington here. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Jackson Lake Dam to pop by right next door to Jackson Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Jackson Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is June. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Jackson Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's.
