El Morro National Monument is one of the destinations near Jacks Lake that are splendid to go to; you'll probably meet some folks from Gallup here. Stay the night at El Morro RV Park, and if you get bored of Jacks Lake you could also visit close by Upper Galestina Number One A Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Pescado Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Jacks       Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tanaja Trading Post is a brilliant place for that. For the duration of the days of summer at Jacks Lake highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Jacks Lake. Jacks Lake is a location that is rather dry regularly; most of the rain falls throughout August, and June is the month with the least moisture.
