Iron Creek Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Francisco Mountains. Camping is available at Ben Lilly Campground; the McKenzie Trail offers hiking at its best. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Iron Creek Lake. Don't leave Iron Creek Lake without first going for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail, and if you've had enough of Iron Creek Lake, Little Turkey Lake is nearby. There's glorious       hiking along the Iron Creek Mesa Trail, and some close by water includes Indian Creek. Yeah, come up here to the San Francisco Mountains for a good time. After a long day outdoors Silver City Super 8 Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Iron Creek Lake is not the only spot close by, Adam Hoague Lake is a close by lake. Be careful coming to the San Francisco Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. You can run the rapids of San                  Francisco River near Iron Creek Lake; camping at Willow Creek Campground is always a great experience. Iron Creek Lake gets very little precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. At Iron Creek Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. During the winter highs are typically in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Iron Creek Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
