This lake is located in the wonderful San Francisco Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Iron Creek Lake has to offer, you can camp at Willow Creek Campground; going for a hike along the McKenzie Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the San Francisco Mountains has it all.       Indian Creek is a striking stream that is worth going to. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Iron Creek Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 40's; overnight lows through the winter for Iron Creek Lake tend to be in the 10's. This spot rules, just check out all the cool stuff to do close to Iron Creek Lake. There's so much to do here at Iron Creek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ben Lilly Campground                  is a splendid location for that, and dry warm beds await you at Silver City Super 8 Motel. Iron Creek Lake is not the only spot close by, Little Turkey Lake is a close by lake; on a delightful day you acquire a great view of Iron Creek Mesa from Iron Creek Lake. Be careful coming to the San Francisco Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. It's always brilliant to check out Sheep Spring; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Iron Creek Mesa Trail. Iron Creek Lake is a location that is quite dried up mostly; through August this area sees the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
