This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Deadman Water Hole, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Tejas Trail. It is very dried up here at Indian Water Hole usually; August is when you get the most rain here while March is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Indian Water Hole. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's while Indian Water Hole night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
