If you are traveling by, why not stop by Indian Lake. Indian Lake is next to Agua Sarca Canyon which is undeniably worth going to, and if you're here, you could also stop by charming La Cueva Lake. August; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Sipapu Ski is just what you need, and Agua Piedra Campground is a nice campground nearby. There's tremendous hiking along the Osha
Trail; why not a little side visit to Knob Creek. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Indian Lake. Don't leave Indian Lake without first going for a hike along the West Fork Angostura Trail; Taos Super 8 Motel is a
nice place to get some rest. High temperatures at Indian Lake during the warm months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Indian Lake plunge into the 0's.
