A delightful lake like Stroud Lake close to Hulsey Lake is a glorious place to check out, and Red Butte is pretty and can be seen from here. Not much precipitation falls here at Hulsey Lake; all through August this area sees the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Hulsey Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.       The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 10's for Hulsey Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Karruth Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and Black Gap is in the vicinity, and is a great place. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Underwood Lake near Hulsey Lake. There's so much to do here at Hulsey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Head of the Ditch Campground is a pleasant                  place for that. This lake is located in the wonderful San Francisco Mountains. So many enjoyable things to do at Hulsey Lake, so little time. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the San Francisco Mountains has to offer.
