Why not stop by Hot Springs Well if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail next to Hot Springs Well called the Old Government Trail, and LC Dam is a wonderful site, beyond doubt worth a visit. The Black Range scenery is always beautiful. Throughout the summer at Hot Springs Well highs are generally in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 50's,

| | and during the dark hours in the winter at Hot Springs Well temperatures drop to the 10's.
It is very dried out here at Hot Springs Well frequently; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Black Range is excellent! A beautiful lake like Upton Cabin Well near Hot Springs Well is a great location to go to, and dry warm beds await | |
