The beauty of Horseshoe Lake attracts many people from all around. You'll find a striking lake called Blue Lake near Horseshoe Lake, and do set aside some time for La Cal Basin while you're here at Horseshoe Lake. Throughout the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Horseshoe Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. The skiing at Red River is fine, and camping at Horseshoe Lake is pleasant fun, Italianos Campground is a pleasant local campground. and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Horseshoe Lake. Taos is a great local ski area, and after a long day outdoors Best Western
River's Edge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Good hiking is available along the Number 3 Lift Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Taos here. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Sangre
De Cristo Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Twining Campground is a good location to camp, and you don’t have to go far from Horseshoe Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Lost Lake Dam. Horseshoe Lake is located in
the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Go for a hike on the Twining Blue Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Horseshoe Lake you can distinguish Fraser Mountain; don't leave Horseshoe Lake without first going for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail.
