Horseshoe Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Horseshoe Lake. There are other locations here than Horseshoe Lake, for example Lost Lake, and why not camp at Italianos Campground if you're here at Horseshoe Lake. A journey to La Cal Basin revives the spirit, and lakes are such serene places, why not check out Williams Lake. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.

This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Lost Lake Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Red River. This lake is so wonderful. Red River has good slopes and a friendly staff; a glorious nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. Hiking along the Number 3 Lift Trail is wonderful fun, and lots of people from Taos come here.
