Horse Lake Dam is not far at all from Horse Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Enbom Lake - Jicarilla Apache is a great place to camp. This place is great, just check out all the amusing things to do in close proximity to
    Horse Lake. A tour to El Vado Lake State Park rejuvenates the soul; hiking is a popular thing to do around Horse Lake; Leche Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail.
