Hidden Lake is a nice lake to visit. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Hidden Lake. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a delightful site to spend a night or two; a spree to Fort Union National Monument is worthwhile. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Sangre De Cristo Mountains is great!. Angel Fire Resort is a brilliant place to get some rest, and there's great hiking along the Kit Carson Trail. Now,

30's with temperatures at Hidden Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Camping at Monte Verde RV Park is always a good experience; don't leave Hidden Lake without first going for a hike along the Burnt Ridge Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Cowboy Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Angel Fire if you're here. It is very waterless here at Hidden Lake usually; the wettest month
of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. Hidden Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
