In New Mexico there are many beautiful lakes, Heart Lake is one of them. If you need a site to stay Adobe and Stars Inn is a great choice; the Number 3 Lift Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. For the duration of the summer highs here at Heart Lake get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Heart Lake plunge

| | into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Rio Grande, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western River's Edge.
The view of Baldy Mountain from Heart Lake is lovely, and nearby you locate the Lost Lake Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Camping is available at Cabresto Lake Campground, and the skiing at Red River is pleasant.

Red Eagle Golf Course. All the outdoors exciting stuff close to Heart Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Why not camp at Fawn Lakes Campground since you're here at Heart Lake; Heart Lake is not the only place nearby, Baldy
Blue Lake is a nearby lake. Heart Lake is pretty dried out usually; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking
trail in the vicinity of Heart Lake called the Twining Blue Lake Trail; a day on the slopes of Ski Rio is just what you need.
