    Go to Hatch Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hatch Lake. A great close by hotel is The Abiquiu Inn, and do explore Laguna Colorada, it's a pretty lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Hatch Spring is a pretty location to take a look at while you're at Hatch Lake, and there are magnificent spots to discover along the River Trail. This  
   lake is so wonderful.
So many cool things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just tremendous. Mahan Canyon is a fine location to explore close by, and a beautiful lake like Williams Lake is a magnificent site to pop by. Why not camp at Clear Creek Campground if you're here at Hatch Lake, and don't leave Hatch Lake without first going for a hike along the San Jose Trail. Hatch Reservoir Dam is not far at all from Hatch Lake; glorious hiking is available
 
               along the San Pedro Mountain Trail.
All through the warm days of summer highs here at Hatch Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hatch Lake sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Hatch Lake is Nacimiento Campground, and do visit San Jose Creek since you're here at Hatch Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Not much rain falls here at Hatch Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest.
