    Beautiful Guaje Reservoir has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling near Guaje Reservoir is Rio Grande; hiking along the Guaje Canyon Trail is great fun. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Guaje Reservoir, and the night is rather colder of course, typically in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Guaje Reservoir. Not much  
   precipitation falls here at Guaje Reservoir; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
You simply should go for Guaje Reservoir. At Guaje Reservoir you always meet someone from Los Alamos, and a great nearby hotel is Ashley Hotel and Suites. A day on the slopes of Pajarito Mountain is just what you need; a golf course nearby is Los Alamos County Government Recreation
 
               Division Golf Course. Guaje Reservoir is right by the Mitchell Trail, and Bandelier National Monument is a pleasant national park.
If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the San Juan Mountains. The peak of Caballo Mountain can be made out from Guaje Reservoir, and Vallecito de los Caballos is positively a delightful place to take a look at. A great location to camp here at Guaje Reservoir is Las Conchas Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Chama, and do take a hike on the Caballo Trail. This site, the San Juan Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Guaje Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Juniper Campground is a tremendous local campground; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Los Alamos, Nm is a good choice.
