    A visit to Grouse Pond is always a good idea. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more entertaining stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains. Camping at Blanco River Campground is always a good experience, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Leche Creek Trail. All through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Grouse Pond. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in  
   the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Grouse Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Chama offers some brilliant whitewater; you're possibly addicted to lakes, Cinnamon Lake is one of those close by.
Grouse Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Rivers Trailer Park is a brilliant local campground, and drift down the rapids of Navajo River in a kayak. Around Grouse Pond you don’t get
 
               a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most; June on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Grouse Pond. If you need a site to stay Best Western Jicarilla Inn is a great choice.
Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co is a good site to get some rest, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to distinguish at Enbom Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Grouse Pond. Grouse Pond is located in the San Juan Mountains.
