Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a wonderful location to get some rest, and a charming lake like Lake Aspen is a delightful site to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Gravel Pit Lakes is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Eagle RV Park is a brilliant local campground. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. While you're here       at Gravel Pit Lakes you can take a hike along the Burnt Ridge Trail; Cimarron Canyon is also a fine spot to discover. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a scenic lake called Lake Doris near Gravel Pit Lakes; let's not forget Maverick Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you came to camp Cathedral Rock Campground is a splendid place                  to do that, and why not head up to Angel Fire and strap some skis to your feet. On a glorious day at Gravel Pit Lakes you can take a hike along the Twining Blue Lake Trail; since you're here at Gravel Pit Lakes, checking out Palisades is a must.
