The Atalaya Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Granite Point Reservoir,       and Bishop's Lodge is a nice site to get some rest. Summertime highs at Granite Point Reservoir typically tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Granite Point Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's. Granite Point Reservoir is generally a rather arid spot; throughout August this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest                  month. Getting to Agua Sarca Creek from Granite Point Reservoir is uncomplicated, and great water scenery is available at McClure Dam in the neighborhood of Granite Point Reservoir. If time allows, Bandelier National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Thompson Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
