    Many people like to go to Granite Point Reservoir. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Granite Point Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Granite Point Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Big Tesuque Campground is a perfect spot for that, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Santa Cruz. The Atalaya Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Granite Point Reservoir,  
   and Bishop's Lodge is a nice site to get some rest. Summertime highs at Granite Point Reservoir typically tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Granite Point Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's.
Granite Point Reservoir is generally a rather arid spot; throughout August this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest
 
               month. If you came to camp Tesuque Pueblo RV Campground is a great place to do that; hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Santa Fe is a glorious place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Agua Sarca Creek from Granite Point Reservoir is uncomplicated, and great water scenery is available at McClure Dam in the neighborhood of Granite Point Reservoir.
Here at Granite Point Reservoir there are plenty of folks from Santa Fe; dry warm beds await you at Fort Marcy Hotel Suites. If time allows, Bandelier National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Thompson Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Granite Point Reservoir you come across the Chamiza Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
