Granite Point Reservoir is a location that is rather dehydrated commonly; most of the rain falls all through August while February is usually the driest month. During your visit to Granite Point Reservoir you'll meet some people from Santa Fe for sure; there's brilliant hiking along the Atalaya Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Four Mile Reservoir is a lake       that's right next door to Granite Point Reservoir; if you came to camp Big Tesuque Campground is a pleasant spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Bishop's Lodge is a magnificent choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Granite Point Reservoir; Chamiza Trail is a tremendous local trail. At Granite Point Reservoir during the summer months highs are in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.                  High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Granite Point Reservoir temperatures descend to the 10's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Twomile Reservoir, and Bandelier National Monument is a good national park. This spot is excellent, just explore all the enjoyable things to do close to Granite Point Reservoir. Agua Sarca Creek is a stunning stream that is worth visiting; whitewater paddling is great on Rio Santa Cruz. Don't leave Granite Point Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Thompson Peak Trail.
