is uncomplicated, and great water scenery is available at McClure Dam in the neighborhood of Granite Point Reservoir. Here at Granite Point Reservoir there are plenty of folks from Santa Fe; dry warm beds await you at Fort Marcy
Hotel Suites. If time allows, Bandelier National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Thompson Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Granite Point Reservoir you come across the Chamiza Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
