    Goose Lake is a lake worth visiting. Goose Lake is a place with many visitors from Silver City, and nearby you discover Packsaddle Canyon which is a delightful site to explore. But wait, there's more to do next to Goose Lake. Goose Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Flats Campground is a tremendous local campground, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Silver City is a brilliant choice. Through the warm months here at Goose  
   Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Goose Lake tend to be in the 20's.
A fine location to camp here at Goose Lake is Cherry Creek Campground; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Granny Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Gila River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby.
 
               Going for a hike along the Snow Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and the sights at Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument will blow your mind.
Not much precipitation falls here at Goose Lake; the month with most of the rain is July, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gila River; do take a hike on the Sapillo Trail. Bull Spring is a great local attraction; dry warm beds await you at Silver City Super 8 Motel.
