This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a great tour? Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is pretty close to Goose Lake, and if you need a place to stay Silver City Super 8 Motel is a great choice. Don't leave Goose Lake without first paying a visit to Bull Spring, and get wet paddling on Gila River. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Goose Lake called the Snow Creek Trail. So many cool things in the vicinity       of Goose Lake, completely amazing. You'll meet a lot of folks from Silver City here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Tadpole Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pine Flats Campground, and if you're here, you might as well visit Packsaddle Canyon. Not much precipitation falls here at Goose Lake; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while April is mostly the driest month.                  A great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Silver City, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Gila River. Lakes are great; The Dry Lakes is a lake that's in close proximity to Goose Lake, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Granny Mountain Trail. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Goose Lake reach the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at Goose Lake during the winter generally fall into the 20's.
