It is very dry here at Gonzales Reservoir typically; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is November. There's so much to do here at Gonzales Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Albuquerque Central KOA is a tremendous spot for that. At Gonzales Reservoir all through the long summer days highs are in the 90's. When the       night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Gonzales Reservoir dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Best Western Inn is a brilliant site to do that It's always nice to pop by Oso Spring. This place, Gonzales Reservoir, it absolutely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. There's great hiking along the Embudito Trail; Gonzales                  Reservoir is not far at all from Albuquerque. The Embudo Trail offers hiking at its best, and the skiing at Sandia Peak is good. Dry warm beds await you at Bridgestreet The Enclave; why not take a refreshing hike along the Pino Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Vol Andia Reservoir in the vicinity of Gonzales Reservoir, and a splendid place to explore is Embudito Canyon. All our national parks are magnificent places to stop at, and Petroglyph National Monument is no exception, and if you need a place to stay Best Value Inn-Albuquerque East is a splendid choice.
