If you are traveling by, why not stop by Gold Lake. For the duration of the months of summer here at Gold Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's, and night lows at Gold Lake through the wintertime generally fall into the 20's. On a great day at Gold Lake you can take a hike along the Butterfield Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Rose Valley RV Ranch is a brilliant location to camp. Here at Gold Lake there are plenty of folks from Silver City; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Silver City. Gold Lake gets very little rain; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here while May is commonly the driest month. Why not camp at Burro Mountain Homestead since you're here at Gold Lake.
