If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Glacier Lakes. For the period of the summer at Glacier Lakes temperatures are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Glacier Lakes fall into the-10's. Man, is there loads of cool       things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Gotta ski! Ski Rio is a brilliant place to do that, and Barker Dome is pretty and can be made out from here. Glacier Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, McCrystal Creek Campground is a good local campground; great hiking is available along the Bernal Trail. Best Western River's Edge is a magnificent place to get some rest, and camping at Mallette Campground is always a wonderful experience. Glacier                  Lakes is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Red River; if you've had enough of Glacier Lakes, Glacier Lakes is nearby.
