Gardenia Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Gardenia Lake. Aspen Hill is a peak you can see from Gardenia Lake, and camping at Sierra Bonita Cabins and RV Park is always a brilliant experience. So many cool things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not enough time. This lake is       so wonderful. A gorgeous lake like Mare Lake in close proximity to Gardenia Lake is a perfect location to pop by, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. This site, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you came to camp Cathedral Rock Campground is a delightful site to do that; after a long day outdoors Angel Fire Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two. Do pop by Bear Lake in the neighborhood of Gardenia                  Lake, it's a scenic lake, and Angel Fire is a fine local ski area. Gardenia Lake gets very little rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Fort Union National Monument is a very wonderful place to check out close to Gardenia Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Santa Fe Trail. Summertime highs at Gardenia Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 40's.
